This location is very refreshing; everyone is so laid back, dogs are welcome, and the beer is excellent. Will without a doubt suggest to friends and family.
Another Chicago Gem. The cask Belgian Patersbier was a real treat for a Belgian beer lover like me. The staff is super friendly, happy to explain the beers and not in a pretentious way. Super fun, laid back, great place to go with friends, family, and coworkers. Happy hour is $4 pints 4-6. That is too good a deal for premium beer! Highly recommend stopping by, enjoying a few at the bar, and chatting with the cool staff!

Like to support local microbreweries. First time to Alarmist...will DEFINITELY will be back! Staff is friendly and enjoys talking beer. Great music selection. Beers we enjoyed include Le Jus, Heartthrob, Pantsless and Angel of Fire. You must stop by!!

Saw an article in the Trib on Alarmist winning Great American Beer Festival. Hazy IPA. I like this style so had to swing by for my first time. The 3 I tried were all solid.

A bit expensive at $7.75 a 12 oz tulip, but they were great!! Will go back.

Quieter, and a bit anti-trendy (think The Cure). Plenty of space. Plenty of beer options. If for no other reason, it's a must for their impressive Le Jus, the GABF gold medal winner for best hazy IPA of 2018. For a twist, try the coffee-steeped Le Jus after the original - still tropical, but with a caffeine and roasty kick.
This place was a fresh of breath air, everyone is down to earth, they allow dogs, beer is too notch. For sure will recommend to family and friends.
